Providence, Rhode Island is home to 80,000 college students and eight college/university campuses.  According to Gallup, all six New England states, including Rhode Island, are among the bottom ten states when it comes to faith being an important part of daily life . Additionally, ages 18-24 is statistically the least reached group for American churches. Nick has been asked to join Tyler Nobis to form the Providence team out of Sojourn Collegiate Ministry. Sojourn has ministries on three campuses in Boston, and is eager to plant in Rhode Island.

The team will be partnering with Northpointe Christian Church, a young church plant that meets in Lincoln, RI. Northpointe strives to be used by God “to make disciples who are sold out to Christ, His community and His cause.”

Sojourn Collegiate Ministry “desires to support the mission of the local church in New England by helping college and university students on their journey back to God.” The team will be building relationships with college students, leading small groups, and, ultimately, sharing Christ’s love with the people of Rhode Island.
